God’s Left Hand, Devil’s Right Hand DVD Pushed to March

Though I haven’t personally seen Shusuke Kaneko’s (Death Note, Gamera trilogy) adaptation, I’d think about giving my left or right hand to read the Kazuo Umezu manga on which it’s based. Kaneko took over direction of the film after the death of Hiroyuki Nasu, and Media Blasters originally scheduled a DVD release under their Tokyo Shock label for October 27.

Tokyo Shock’s new release date for the thriller is March 9, 2010, so maybe you can carry over some of those holiday wishes into the first few months of the new year. The film looks budget as all heck, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing, as it also looks appropriately creepy. It almost reminds me visually of some of Kaneko’s older work, like Crossfire.
