Gintama creator Hideaki Sorachi always has some tricks up his sleeve, and he’s never afraid to have a little fun both in and outside the pages of his series. With the Gintama THE FINAL anime film coming to Japanese theaters on January 8, 2021, Sorachi decided to whip up a special illustration… of Demon Slayer.
Sorachi’s drawing of Tanjiro and the Hashira will be given out on cards as a bonus for first-week theatergoers. Those who attend screenings will also get a limited assortment of Gintama stickers.
Sadly, we don’t have an early look at how the Gintama creator handles drawing Koyoharu Gotouge’s smash hit characters. What we do have, at least, is a new trailer for the movie, at the end of which protagonist Gintoki Sakata announces the first-week bonus items.
