There’s no date in place yet for the Giji Harem anime—which is in the works to adapt the manga by Yu Saito—but we now know who’s behind it. The main staff was revealed along with the release of a new teaser trailer, with Toshihiro Kikuchi (Bungo Stray Dogs WAN) at the helm for the Nomad production.
Other staff members include Yuko Kakihara (Buddy Daddies) on series composition, Yoshihisa Sato as character designer and Takeshi Watanabe as music composer. Pony Canyon is producing the anime’s music. Check out the new preview below.
The Giji Harem anime adaptation will star Saori Hayami (Yor in SPY x FAMILY) as Rin Nanakura and Nobuhiko Okamoto (Sengoku in Horimiya) as Eiji Kitahama. The story centers on Rin as she attempts to get the attention of her drama club senpai.
The Giji Harem manga first started as a webcomic on Twitter from June 2019 to March 2021, garnering 5.6 million likes along the way. A serialized version ran in Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine and the series has been collected in six volumes.
