Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 season 2 first made its way to Netflix around the world in May 2022, and now it’s about to be collected on the big screen. As revealed on the official website, the latest installment of the 3DCG anime series based on the sci-fi action manga by Masamune Shirow will be getting a compilation film, which is set to open in Japan sometime in 2023.
The first season also got a compilation film, Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 Sustainable War, which opened in Japan on November 12, 2021. There’s currently no concrete release date for the second, so stay tuned for more info.
