Following its limited theatrical run in Japan back in November, Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 Sustainable War is on the way to Netflix around the world. The streaming debut is right around the corner on May 9, so Netflix went ahead and shared a new trailer and visual to hype up the compilation.
Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 Sustainable War is a compilation of the CG-animated series’s first season, which is the latest project based on Masamune Shirow’s sci-fi manga Ghost in the Shell. The limited theatrical run lived up to its distinction, with 20 theaters in Japan having shown the film starting on November 12.
The anime series version of the 3DCG project originally made its worldwide debut on Netflix on April 23. Here’s how Netflix describes it:
