Gatchaman Crowds Insight Premieres July 5

There’s more Gatchaman Crowds on the way soon, with the sequel series, Gatchaman Crowds Insight, now officially set to premiere on Nihon TV at 25:55 on July 5 (Japan Time). It will then air a month later on NihonTV’s CS channel Nitelle Plus starting on August 8.

New cast members were also recently announced for the sequel. The latest to join the cast are Kaori Ishihara (Aladdin in Magi) as Tsubasa Misudachi/G-60; Kana Hanazawa (Shiori in The World God Only Knows) as Gel Sadra, which was also the name of the main villain in 1978’s Gatchaman II; and Yuichiro Umehara (En in Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!) as Rizumu Suzuki, founder of a mysterious organization that deems Gatchaman dangerous.
