One of the arms (legs?) of multimedia project Futsal Boys!!!!! is a TV anime, which was originally scheduled to debut sometime this year. Those plans have been pushed back a bit, though, as Bandai Namco Entertainment, Diomedea, and Bandai Namco Arts take some extra time to improve the quality of the game.

Since, as the statement says, the game is “taking longer to complete,” the TV anime has been delayed to 2022 so it can coincide with the launch.

Mao Marita is responsible for the original story of Futsal Boys!!!!!, with Tomomi Ishikawa adapting the original character designs and Shoji Yonemura (Pokémon Journeys: The Series) on series composition.
