The convergence of Japanese and American anime air dates continues, at least within the online world. This time, it’s Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood that’s aligning its stars close to Japan’s air dates, and the first episode hits FUNimation’s site on Thursday, April 9th at 12:00pm. For those keeping track, that’s a mere four days after the Japanese television premiere. Sure, it’s not exactly simultaneous, but it’s close enough for those that aren’t among the wily torrenting crowd.
Brotherhood is the follow-up to the first television adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s original manga, and amazingly enough, the premieres continue around the globe in April. Within days and weeks, it will also be premiering in Australia, Francophone Europe, Hong Kong, the Philippines, South Asia, Southeast Asia and Taiwan.
