December 25, 2008 First off, Merry Christmas to those that celebrate it, and even those that don’t will hopefully have the chance to spend this day relaxing to some degree. Maybe popping open some DVDs on that mighty, unconquerable “to watch” stack of yours, for starters. FUNimation are celebrating, as well, with the announcement of their acquisition of Studio Gonzo’s Vandread.
Owning the home entertainment, digital, broadcast and merchandise rights to director Takeshi Mori‘s (Gunsmith Cats, Otaku no Video) 26-episode series must have been on the top of their list this year, and Santa is nothing if not accommodating.
