Full Metal Alchemist Returns to the Airwaves
According to the 20th volume of Hiromu Awakawa’s Full Metal Alchemist manga (which actually exists in the future), a new television series is in the works. This comes after rumors had already been floating for a while, thanks to what is said to be a leaked document from the halls of anime studio BONES.
The document also seems to have pinned a director for the project, and it’s not first series head honcho Seiji Mizushima this time. Rather, the “Hagane 2 kantoku” is listed as Yasuhiro Irie who, aside from working on the original, has been involved with RahXephon, Soul Eater, and more.
