Back in March we got a look at the main staff, a new trailer and more for the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime, based on the manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. Now we have word on the main cast members joining the previously announced Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya in SPY x FAMILY) as Frieren.
Starting with Frieren, from left to right below we have Hiroki Tochi as Heiter, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Himmel and Yoji Ueda as Eisen.
BOCCHI THE ROCK! director Keiichiro Saito is at the helm for this one, which also has Tomohiro Suzuki (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.) on series composition , Reiko Nagasawa (takt op. Destiny) on character designs and Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) on music for the Madhouse production.
The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End manga has been running in the pages of Weekly Shonen Sunday since April 2020 and will have 10 volumes on the shelves in Japan as of March 16. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English and sums it up below.
