Steam versions were in the works for Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library & the Monster Seal and Dungeon Travelers 2-2: The Fallen Maidens & the Book of Beginnings, but the those particular release plans have officially been canceled. According to publisher Shiravune, the cancellation was decided upon because Steam’s guidelines are too strict.
Here’s what Shiravune said about it in a press release:
“Unfortunately, Steam’s guidelines made it impossible to pass their review while maintaining the high quality standards we hold for these titles… We apologize to all players who were still looking forward to a Steam version of Dungeon Travelers 2-2.”
Both Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library & the Monster Seal and Dungeon Travelers 2-2: The Fallen Maidens & the Book of Beginnings are currently available via the Johren platform for $19.99 each.
