Dragon Ball Daima Drops Main Trailer, Previews Opening SongJust the other day, we learned that Dragon Ball Daima would kick off on October 11. Now we’ve got a fresh look at the series thanks to a main trailer reveal!

The trailer, which comes complete with English subtitles, also previews the opening theme song, “Jaka Jaan” by Zedd feat. C&K.

Some new cast members were revealed, too, including:

Yumiko Kobayashi as Supreme Kai (mini)
Koki Uchiyama as Glorio
Fairouz Ai as Panzy

Dragon Ball Daima episodes will broadcast in Japan every Friday at 11:40 p.m., with the first to run 10 minutes longer than usual.

According to Fuji TV, all episodes of Daima have been completed, and the new timeslot will span all of Fuji TV’s affiliated networks throughout Japan.

Ahead of October 11, the first episode of Dragon Ball Daima will have its wold premiere at the Dragon Ball 40th anniversary event at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan. The premiere is set for October 6, 2024.

The return of a young Goku will be spearheaded by Yoshitaka Yashima, who previously worked as animation director on the likes of Dragon Ball Super and Digimon, and Aya Komaki, credited as One Piece series director, among other projects. Before his death this year, Akira Toriyama was heavily involved in the project, handling original character designs and the new story.
