Dragon Ball DAIMA started in October, and the premiere of the English dub has finally been revealed!
Technically, some people have already seen the beginning of the English dub because Toei Animation and Fathom Events did a limited North American theatrical screening of the first three episodes. By limited, I mean it was only on the big screen for three days.
The Dragon Ball DAIMA dub will become more widely available when it starts to stream on Crunchyroll, and that will be on January 10. From there, fans will get a new dubbed episode each week.
Crunchyroll also revealed the English dub cast, which includes many familiar names: Sean Schemmel plays Goku; Kent Williams plays Supreme Kai; Christopher R. Sabat plays Vegeta, Yamcha, and Shenron; Monica Rial plays Bulma, Sonny Strait plays Krillin, Kara Edwards plays Goten and Gotenks; Alexis Tipton plays Trunks and Gotenks, Justin Cook plays Dende; Chuck Huber plays Kibito; Josh Martin plays Majin Buu; Duncan Brannan plays Babidi; Stephanie Nadolny plays Mini Goku; Nia Celeste plays Mini Supreme Kai; Paul Castro Jr. plays Mini Vegeta; Taylor Murphy plays Mini Bulma; Nasim Benelkour plays Mini Piccolo; Lara Woodhull plays Mini Krillin; Brittany Lauda plays Mini Chi Chi; Jordan Dash Cruz plays Mini Master Roshi; Celeste Perez plays Mini Trunks; Emi Lo plays Mini Trunks; Aaron Michael plays Mini Kibito; Cory Phillips plays Mini Mister Satan; Dusty Feeney plays Mini Majin Buu; Aaron Dismuke plays Glorio; Tom Laflin plays Gomah; Landon McDonald plays Degesu; Morgan Lauré plays Doctor Arinsu; Garrett Schenck plays Neva; Kristian Eros plays Sir Warp and Small Sir Warp; and Doc Morgan is the Narrator.
Crunchyroll gave this description for the Dragon Ball DAIMA, which offers an original story and is not adapted on stuff already in the manga:
Dragon Ball DAIMA Plot
