Details Revealed for First Two Madoka Magica Anime Films

The first two of three Puella Magi Madoka Magica films are set to recap the events of the TV series, and will be premiering in Japan this fall. While no details were divulged about the third film, which will feature an all new story, we now know the titles of the first two.

Get ready for a mouthful. The first film is Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (Zenpen) -Hajimari no Monogatari- (Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie (Part 1) -The Story of the Beginning-), and the second is titled Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (Kouhen) -Eien no Monogatari- ( Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie (Part 2) -The Story of Eternity- ). The titles were revealed at this weekend’s Anime Contents Expo 2012 stage event for Madoka Magica.

The film trilogy was confirmed by Newtype back in November. You can see a tiny bit more on the projects over at the official Madoka Magica website.
