Demon Slayer Season 2 to Kick Off Half-Year Run This Fall

demon slayer season 2

While we still don’t have a specific date, the official website revealed some more info on Demon Slayer season 2 plans. The Entertainment District arc is now scheduled to air for two cours, adding up to a half-year run, starting this fall and right on through the winter season.

Demon Slayer season 2 will air every Sunday night at 11:15pm in Japan, and Funimation previously announced plans to simulcast the new season alongside its Japanese broadcast.

For those wanting more information, Fuji TV programming department manager Yuriko Nakamura confirmed that, while they’ll still be going through the typical standards-and-practices review processes for the series, Demon Slayer season 2 will air without changes to its content. As the title of the season implies, that content involves a story set in the red light district. Nakamura and Fuji TV both received a great response to airing the project that went on to become a social phenomenon, so it makes sense that they would have more leverage as to how it airs.

Stay tuned for more as we learn when exactly to expect Demon Slayer season 2.
