A new trailer and more release info has been revealed for the Demon Lord, Retry! R anime, which was first announced as an adaptation of author Amaru Minotake’s manga followup back in August 2023. The series will kick off in Japan on October 5, 2024, with Crunchyroll set to stream it as part of its fall 2024 simulcast lineup.
The theme song artists have also been revealed. ASCA is on the opening theme song, “Ashita Sekai ga Owaru Toshite mo” (“Even if the World Ends Tomorrow…”) and MIMiNARI is on the ending theme song, “Clan Chic feat. Yuho Kitazawa.”

Demon Lord, Retry! R Trailer
The original anime adaptation of Demon Lord, Retry! aired starting in July 2019, with Hiroshi Kimura (episodes of BLUELOCK) directing and studio EKACHI EPILKA producing. The Demon Lord, Retry! R manga is available in English through J-Novel Club, which describes the series like so:
