“Deji” Meets Girl is a new original short form TV anime that’s on the way to Tokyo Broadcasting System’s “Super Animeism” block in Japan this October, and a new preview and more info is here to show everyone what’s in store. In addition to a fresh trailer, the latest update reveals that Tatsuyuki Kobayashi is getting in on the fun as the voice of a mysterious young man named Ichiro Suzuki, who travels from Tokyo to Okinawa for a visit and stirs things up for the protagonist.

In “Deji” Meets Girl, 16-year-old high school student Maise Higa has to help out as a part-time clerk at the front desk of her family’s Okinawa-based hotel. When the mysterious Ichiro Suzuki arrives, he brings strange phenomena along with him, turning what seems like a boring summer break into something extraordinary.
Ushio Tazawa is directing the anime at Liden Films.
