Back in April we saw a teaser and learned of the returning cast and staff for the Date A Live V anime, which is currently in the works. While we wait for the series to return, the first set of character visuals made its way online to reintroduce us to some of the core cast.
Check out the new visuals for Tohka Yatogami, Shindo Itsuka, Kotori Itsuka, Origami Tobiichi, Yoshino and Miku Izayoi below.
Returning staff includes director Jun Nakagawa, script supervisor Fumihiko Shimo, character designer Naoto Nakamura, music composer Go Sakabe and animation production house Geek Toys. Among the returning cast members we have Marina Inoue as Tohka Yatogami, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shido Itsuka, Misuzu Togashi as Origami Tobiichi, Ayana Taketatsu as Kotori Itsuka and more.
Crunchyroll currently streams all of the Date A Live anime, describing the series like so:
Ordinary high school boy Shido discovers a mysterious girl at ground zero of a recent spacequake. Shido learns, through his sister Kotori, that the girl is one of the Spirits: mystical creatures responsible for the spacequakes. Shido is recruited to help “seal” the sprits and end their threat to mankind. There’s just one catch: the only way to seal a spirit—is to make her fall in love with you.
