A premiere date has been locked in for the Date A Live V anime, which officially kicks off in Japan on April 10, 2024. After premiering on AT-X, the fifth season of Date A Live will air on Tokyo MX, BS11, KBS Kyoto and Sun TV, and is also set to stream via d Anime Store.
Returning staff includes director Jun Nakagawa, script supervisor Fumihiko Shimo, character designer Naoto Nakamura, music composer Go Sakabe and animation production house Geek Toys. Among the returning cast members we have Marina Inoue as Tohka Yatogami, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shido Itsuka, Misuzu Togashi as Origami Tobiichi, Ayana Taketatsu as Kotori Itsuka and more.

Ordinary high school boy Shido discovers a mysterious girl at ground zero of a recent spacequake. Shido learns, through his sister Kotori, that the girl is one of the Spirits: mystical creatures responsible for the spacequakes. Shido is recruited to help “seal” the sprits and end their threat to mankind. There’s just one catch: the only way to seal a spirit—is to make her fall in love with you.
