Cute High Earth Defense Club Gets New Film in 2025

Cute High Earth Defense Club Gets New Film in 2025Cute High Earth Defense Club is back. The series about high school cuties who gain powers to help defend the earth, is getting a feature film in 2025. The film will mark the 10th anniversary of the franchise.

The film will be titled Cute High Earth Defense Club ETERNAL LOVE!. It’ll be helmed by Shinji Takamatsu, who has directed all the entries in the series so far, and written by Michiko Yokote, who’s penned most of them. The original cast is back, too. The film is set for winter 2025.

Alongside the news came a new piece of art celebrating the 10th anniversary and a short video highlighting the multiple seasons of anime and OVAs in the franchise.

Here’s how Crunchyroll describes the original series:

Teenage boys are notoriously lazy, and the members of Binan High School’s Earth Defense Club are no exception. Their definition of “earth defense” is bumming around all day at the local bathhouse. But when a pink wombat appears out of thin air and begs the boys to help him save the planet, even the idlest high schoolers jump to action. Watch the magical boys transform and save the earth with the power of LOVE!
