Crowd-funded Under the Dog Anime Teases August Debut

Whether you backed it yourself or just heard about it, you might be familiar with the Kickstarter-funded anime project Under the Dog. In Internet time it’s been eons since it was successfully funded in 2014, but now we have a digital launch date thanks to a teaser posted on the official website.

Under the Dog has director Masahiro Ando (Blast of Tempest) at the helm, with Jiro Ishii providing the story for the Kinema Citrus production. It was originally aiming for a May debut, but now it’s set to arrive on August 1. See some quick action in the new teaser trailer below.
