Creepy New Uzumaki Trailer Previews Japanese Language Adult Swim Debut

After way too many delays, we’re finally less than a month away from the debut of the limited anime series Uzumaki, based on the iconic manga by Junji Ito! Earlier today Adult Swim dropped a creepy new trailer for it, and it’s in Japanese with English subtitles.

After showing things spiral out of control (pun intended) the trailer ends with the announcement that the Japanese version of the anime will premiere September 28 at 12:30 AM (which technically makes it September 29). MAX will begin streaming it the very next day.

Adult Swim will also play an English dubbed version of Uzumaki.

In the Japanese language version, Shinichiro Miki plays Shuichi Saito, Uki Satake plays Kirie Goshima, Ami Fukushima plays Shiho, Katsutoshi Matsuzaki plays Katayama, Mariya Ise plays Azami Kurotani, Mika Doi plays Yukie Saito,Takashi Matsuyama plays Shuichi’s father, Tatsumaru Tachibana plays Tsumura, Toshio Furukawa plays Kirie’s father, and Wataru Hatano plays Okada.

In the English language version, Abby Trott plays Kirie Goshima, Robbie Daymond plays Shuichi Saito, Cristina Vee plays Azami Kurotani, Doug Stone plays Kirie’s father, Aaron LaPlante plays Shuichi’s father, Mona Marshall plays Shuichi’s mother, and Max Mittelman plays Katayama.
