The premiere of the highly anticipated Chainsaw Man anime adaptation is less than a month away. Shortly after releasing a trailer and info on the 12 ending themes and artists that go with each episode, more details came out for fans who prefer to watch their anime dubbed. Yes, an official dubbed trailer has dropped, along with the names of the main actors.
Ryan Colt Levy has the lead role as Denji, then Suzie Yeung plays Makima, Sarah Wiedenheft plays Power, and Reagan Murdock plays Aki. Mike McFarland is the director.
The anime will have its U.S. premiere on October 7 at New York Comic-Con. This will be people’s first opportunity to listen in on the English dub beyond the trailer.
The anime comes out in Japan on October 11, and Crunchyroll will be streaming. It said that the dub will be streamed at a later date, but did not specify when that might be.
The anime is being made by MAPPA, with Ryu Nakayama of Black Clover and Jujutsu Kaisen helming the project as the director. Script writing has been tasked to Hiroshi Seko, who has previously written for Attack on Titan The Final Season. The music is being composed by kensuke ushio, whose credentials include A Silent Voice, DEVILMAN crybaby, and Liz and the Blue Bird. Art direction goes to Yusuke Takeda from Vinland Saga.

“Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as ‘Chainsaw Man’–a man with a devil’s heart.”
The original manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto first came out in 2018.
