is now up for pre-order, with a street date set for June 16.

Whoever said video games rot your brain never met Daichi Manatsu. His skills at games come through in a pinch when he starts working for an Organization known as Globe, and he puts them to the test piloting a giant robot called the Earth Engine Impacter.

Daichi doesn’t run on talent alone, though. He has a little help from a special weapon called the Livlaster, as well as a group of equally dedicated young people with special skills of their own. Together they fight to defend Earth from aliens looking to drain the planet’s life force.

Takuya Igarashi (Soul Eater, Star Driver) directs Captain Earth, while Yoji Enokido (Ouran High School Host Club) handles series composition and Satoshi Ishino (No. 6) adapts the original character designs by Fumi Minato.

packs in the first 13 episodes along with clean versions of the opening and closing animation, and you’ll soon be able to leap headfirst into the battle for humanity right alongside Daichi.
