During last night’s The Game Awards ceremony, Bandai Namco offered up a look at the latest in the sprawling line of Dragon Ball video games. With the spirit of the Budokai Tenkaichi series flowing through it, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is currently in the works for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Some of the roster has been teased along with the announcement, including the likes of Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, Broly and Frieza. Check out the announcement trailer:
Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero comes from Budokai Tenkaichi devs Spike Chunsoft, who are putting Unreal Engine 5 to work for this one. The title also sees the series returning to its original naming conventions, as the first entry in the Budokai Tenkaichi series was originally titled Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! in Japan.
