Blade & Soul Anime Adapts Korean MMO

Blade & Soul is Gonzo’s attempt at adapting the Korean MMORPG of the same name by NCSoft. The martial arts fantasy game is inspired by the four benevolent animals of Chinese mythology, and the latest commercial offers up another peek at the April anime series.

The adaptation is directed by Hiroshi Takeuchi (animation director on Big O and Bodacious Space Pirates) and Hiroshi Hamasaki (Steins;Gate, Texhnolyze), with Fairy Tail‘s Tomioka Atsuhiro on series composition. The promo below is a quick one, but it manages to squeeze in a decent amount of animated action.
