Baki Gets a New TV Anime Adaptation

There’s more anime brewing in the world of Keisuke Itagaki‘s long-running martial arts manga Baki. The second Baki manga series—New Grappler Baki: In Search of Our Strongest Hero—originally kicked off in 1999 and ran for 31 volumes, and contained a story known as the Prisoners Saga (Saikyou Shikeishu-hen/The Deadliest Condemned Criminals arc). That arc will be the subject of a new OAD that ships with volume 14 of the latest Baki series, Baki: The Way, on December 6.

On top of that, that same run of Baki is inspiring a new TV anime, with more plans to be revealed in future issues of Weekly Shonen Champion magazine.
