Filmarks—which is one of Japan’s largest review services for anime, drama and film—has revealed the results of its Satisfaction Ranking of Film, Drama and Anime in the First Half of 2022 research. Based on the numbers calculated by Satisfaction Rankings for drama and anime broadcasts, as well as theatrical film releases, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 has officially topped the list for the anime category.
The third season of the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime came in close behind the titanic chart-topper, followed by the hit first cour of SPY x FAMILY and Netflix’s release of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean.

Top Gun Maverick topped the film charts for films with 10,000 reviews or more, with Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween falling in ninth place. For films with 500 to 9,999 reviews, the highest anime film ranking was Free! -the Final Stroke- 2nd Volume in third.
