The 23rd volume of Atsushi Ohkubo’s Fire Force manga is now out in the wild in Japan, and the release contains some interesting info in the author commentary section. Not only did Ohkubo hint at the fact that the manga is in its “final stage,” the author also said he plans for it to be his last manga.
Fire Force kicked off in the pages of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine back in 2015, and the 24th volume is scheduled to hit shelves in Japan on July 17. There are no details beyond it being what the Soul Eater creator describes as its final stage, so we’ll just have to see how it plays out from here.
