Quro first launched the Asteroid in Love manga in the pages of Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine back in January 2017, and now it’s getting ready to end. According to the latest issue of the magazine, there are just two chapters remaining, which should line the series up with a conclusion this June.
Known as Koisuru Asteroid in Japan, the manga previously inspired a TV anime adaptation featuring direction by Daisuke Hiramaki (WATATEN!: An Angel Flew Down to Me), with Yuka Yamada (WATATEN!, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) on scripts for the Doga Kobo production.
Crunchyroll streamed the Asteroid in Love anime as it aired back in January 2020, followed by streaming and a Blu-ray release from Funimation. Here’s how Crunchyroll describes it:
When she was little, Konohata Mira promises a boy she meets at a campsite that they can find a asteroid together. When she enters high school, she joins the astronomy club. But that year, the astronomy club happened to combine with the geology club, making it the Earth Sciences Club?!
Won’t you find all kinds of sparkles with the Earth Sciences Club girls?
