Sho Murase is an artist who has worked with Disney and DC Comics, and also published her first graphic novel, Sei, with Image Comics back in 2003. Sadly, Murase passed away on August 12 after battling a long-term illness and kidney failure, along with other health complications.
In addition to her work with major publishers like Disney and DC, Murase provided illustrations for Tokyopop’s manga-style Nancy Drew adaptation and designed characters for the Guardians of Luna animated film from Cybergraphix Animation.
