April Showers Bring May Flowers Shares Debut Date and New Trailer

The debut of April Showers Bring May Flowers is now fewer than six weeks away, and a trailer has dropped, along with more information on the cast, the ending theme song, and the exact debut date. In this trailer you can hear part of the opening theme song “BLOOM (feat. Ayumu Imazu)” being performed by TWS.

It’s not in the trailer, but the ending theme song is titled “Souvenir” and performed by GLASGOW.

We can now mark our calendars for July 4 as the launch date.

Here is the newly revealed cast:

  • Makoto Koichi (Teruko Ōkura in Bungo Stray Dogs) plays Keisuke Ueno
  • Tasuku Hatanaka (Denki Kaminari in My Hero Academia) plays Tsutomu Shinbashi

It had already been revealed that Saori Hayami plays Hana Tabata, Shimba Tsuchiya plays Yosuke Ueno, Yoshino Aoyama plays Sumire Uguisudani, and Yoshimasa Hosoya plays Tetsuo Gotanda.

April Showers Bring May Flowers is being made at SILVER LINK, with Mirai Minato of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! helming the project as director and handling the scripts. The music is being composed by Yuki Hayashi and Shogo Yamashiro, both of whom have worked in the My Hero Academia franchise.

The original manga by Roku Sakura (known as Busu ni Hanataba o in Japanese) is available in America through Yen Press. Yen Press gave this description for the plot:
