April Series Libra of Nil Admirari Gets First Trailer

April Series Libra of Nil Admirari Gets First TrailerLibra of Nil Admirari (Nil Admirari no Tenbin), the visual novel about love, jealousy, hatred and superpowers set in an alternate universe Japan, is getting an anime adaptation this April. Now we’ve got our first good look at the series thanks to a trailer released today.

The series will star the cast of the PlayStation Vita game, which includes Yuki Kaji, Nobuhiko Okamoto and Ryota Osaka. Directorial duties fall to Masahiro Takata (Super Seisyun Brothers) with script supervision from Tomoko Konparu (Uta no Prince-sama).

The game was developed by Otomate, who specialize in visual novels geared toward women, and the story sounds like some pretty wild stuff. It takes place in an alternate universe where Japan’s Taisho Era (1912-26) lasts for an extra decade. The main character, a woman who is able to see “auras” due to an incident in which her brother committed suicide, gets tangled up with a group of hunks called the Imperial Library Information Assets Management Bureau.

Honestly, though, you had me at “alternate universe.”
