Anchor Bay Releasing Tokyo Zombie on DVD

Anyone that was at New York Comic Con likely passed or stopped by Anchor Bay’s booth at least once. On the side of a Friday the 13th-heavy display stood an image that was blindingly colorful in contrast: the poster for Sakichi Sato’s Tokyo Zombie film, starring Tadanobu Asano and Sho Aikawa.

Originally debuting in 2005 in Japan, Sato’s adaptation of Yusaku Hanakuma‘s manga will hit shelves in America on April 1st, 2009. Just in case the property is alien to you, I’ve embedded the film’s trailer below, and Last Gasp published the manga domestically last year. Pick it up!
