Featured Spotlight: American Kitsune
Last time we checked in on the wild cast of Brandon Varnell’s American Kitsune series, things were getting pretty intense. After being kidnapped by a group of secret agents, Kevin Swift was staring down the barrel of a visit from Lilian’s family. After all that transpired as a result, wouldn’t you agree that it’s time for some much-needed R&R? Those wishes are about to be fulfilled in the pages of American Kitsune Book 5: A Fox’s Vacation, now available both digitally and in print.
Spring break is upon us, and you know what that means… hot springs, nude scenes, and plenty of fan service! That’s the name of the game as Kevin and Lilian make their way to the west to soak in the sun and fun with a week at the beach and San Diego Comic-Con. What could possibly go wrong?
While Kevin may indeed deserve a vacation without any snags along the way, that wouldn’t make for a every exciting tale. Thus we have a heaping helping of conflicts, from getting caught in the middle of a war between kappa and kitsune to attempted assassination attempts on Lilian and beyond.
Writer Brandon Varnell once again blends his love of anime into the characters and world of American Kitsune, which are further brought to life thanks to the wonderful illustration work of Kirsten Moody. With a story full of action and ecchi comedy, you’ll want to see how things shake out for our hero and his friends in American Kitsune Book 5: A Fox’s Vacation.
