A Second Look at Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet

Writer Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica, Fate/zero) and director Kazuya Murata (Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos) are teaming with studio Production I.G on Suisei no Galgantia (Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet), which follows a soldier who gets marooned on a watery planet full of people who live on ships.

The series features Kaito Ishikawa (Tari Tari, Say I Love You) as the shipwrecked lead, Red, and Hisako Kanemoto (Squid Girl) as Amy, a 15-year-old native who meets Red and serves as his guide. If the latest promo is anything to go by, this is one to watch out for.
