A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized Gets Trailer for Season 2

A trailer has dropped for season two of A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized. It lets us know more about the Japanese cast, offers a clip of the opening theme song “Brave one” being performed by Fukurow note, and says we can expect new episodes to begin on October 2.

According to the trailer, Haruki Ishiya plays Edward, Chafurin plays Pravas, and Kohei Amasaki plays Mysterious Man. A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized was animated in China, and all the actors here are doing the Japanese dub for it.

It had previously been revealed that Yui Ishikawa was cast as Vanessa, Iori Noguchi was cast as Rosetta, Takuma Nagatsuka was cast as the leader of “Shikkoku no Chi,” and Momo Sakurai was cast as one of its members.

LAN Studio took care of production for the first season. The show is being streamed by Crunchyroll.

Kaisei Enomoto began publishing the original A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized light novels in 2017, initially on the site”Shōsetsuka ni Narō.” It was later picked up by Kadokawa and received artwork from Shugao. There is also a manga adaptation from Murokouichi, which is available for American readers through Manga Up! Manga Up! gave this description for the plot:

For 5,000 years, a harmless herbivorous dragon lived a quiet, secluded life. But everything changed when a girl called Reiko appeared before him. She offers herself as a sacrifice to who she believes is the evil dragon, Revandia, in exchange for helping her defend her village from the demon king.

Together, the so-called “evil” dragon, devoid of flight or magical prowess, and the enigmatic girl embark on an epic, demon-vanquishing adventure!

Kaisei Enomoto has additionally penned some short yarns for A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized.
