Early news regarding an anime adaptation of Yoshiaki Sukeno’s Twin Star Exorcists manga popped up in tiny form on the cover of Weekly Shonen Jump, which featured a small image of the cover of Jump SQ.‘s January 2016 issue. Yes, it’s a cover on a cover, but it’s at least big enough that folks spotted the upcoming announcement of a Twin Star Exorcists anime.
The reveal is set for December 4, so there isn’t much in the way of details at the moment. Viz Media publishes the Twin Star Exorcists manga in North America, and here’s how they sum it up:
Rokuro dreams of becoming anything but an exorcist! Then mysterious Benio turns up. The pair are dubbed the “Twin Star Exorcists” and learn they are fated to marry… Can Rokuro escape both fates? When Rokuro’s best friend Ryogo goes missing, Rokuro is forced to ask Benio for help to enter Magano, the realm of the evil Kegare, to rescue him!
