Based on the shonen manga series written by Takahiro and illustrated by Tetsuya Tashiro, Akame ga KILL! is getting ready to bring its violent tale to television. The Gangan Joker manga follows the title character, who the Empire bought, brainwashed, and raised as an assassin. When a boy named Tatsumo meets Akame, he makes it his mission to oppose the Empire’s evil rule.
The announcement of the anime adaptation first came back in January, and now Toho Animation has a quick promo teasing the series.
