HIDIVE officially announced plans to stream the latest original P.A. Works anime as it airs in Japan. The series known in Japanese as Towa no Yugure will join the streamer’s Fall 2025 simulcast lineup under the localized title Dusk Beyond the End of the World this October.
Ahead of that, the series will have its world premiere—including the first two episodes—during Anime NYC 2025. You’ll be able to catch the premiere at the Javits Center in New York City on Sunday, August 24.
Dusk Beyond the End of the World Trailer
The original work is credited to “Project FT,” and the anime has Naokatsu Tsuda (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) directing and overseeing scripts. Midori Tayama is credited as original character designer, and Yoshiko Saito is adapting the designs at P.A. Works, which has Masahiro Tokuda on music.
Here’s how HIDIVE describes it:
The world is on the verge of changing from an old fashioned society to a new world, due to issues such as gender, race and compliance along with technological innovations such as an evolving AI. Even in this world where black and white is now gray, we believe that “love” will always exist but in myriad forms and not just between people. This includes love between human and robot and its unique expression. The beauty of these emotions will be shown sometimes beautifully, sometimes brutally, and sometimes comically. How long can this love last? When a robot outlives its human partner, can their love hope to endure?
