After being announced in November 2024, the You and I Are Polar Opposites anime is back with its first trailer, a new key visual and some staff info. Takayoshi Nagatomo is lined up to direct the series, with Teruko Utsumi on series composition, Mako Miyako on character designs and Naho Kozono as assistant character designer and chief animation director.

The manga by Kocha Agasawa, which launched as a one-shot in 2021 and went into serialization in 2022, recently wrapped its run. The series has over a million copies in circulation.
