Jun Mayuzuki’s Kowloon Generic Romance manga is getting an anime adaptation, and the latest update has it set for an April 2025 premiere. The official website also shared a trailer and visual along with more details on the cast and staff behind the production.

The anime is being directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki (Love Hina), with Jin Tanaka (Oshi no Ko) on the script and Yuka Shibata on character designs for the Arvo Animation production.
The main cast consists of Haruka Shiraishi as Kowloon real estate agent Reiko Kujirai and Tomokazu Sugita as her colleague Hajime Kudo. New cast members include Ryotaro Okiayu as Miyuki Hebinuma, Taito Ban as Tao Gwen, Aoi Koga as Yaomay and Sayumi Suzushiro as Xiaohei.
Yen Press publishes the manga—which first launched in the pages of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine back in November 2019—in English and sums up the story like so:
