Animé Los Angeles Gears Up for Biggest Event Yet

Animé Los AngelesFeatured Spotlight: Animé Los Angeles

Animé Los Angeles is getting ready to return to the Long Beach Convention Center on January 9-12, 2025, and this year’s event will be bigger than ever before. From concerts and cosplay to industry panels and more, here’s a sample of what you can look forward to at the first major event of the new year!

Beyond the enormous Exhibit Hall and Artist Alley Hall, Animé Los Angeles 20 has a ton of interactive and live events in store for attendees. The Seaside Meeting Rooms have evolved and transformed into Akihabara Seaside, complete with e-gaming, tabletop gaming, a manga lounge, a costume repair station and a maid café. There are also plenty of cosplay gatherings to look forward to, including Animé Los Angeles’s first Hall Cosplay Contest!

For live programming, look no further than events like the Masquerade and Fashion Show, both presented by First Stop Cosplay. There’s also a formal dance, AMV contest and cosplay chess, as well as dance and DJ events lined up for each night. Want to see the best and brightest within the convention community in action? Set some time aside for this year’s iteration of ALA’s Next Top Star.

Of course, it wouldn’t be ALA without a slew of incredible guests from all over the industry. This year is no different, and some of the many Guests of Honor include Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed), Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop), SHIHORI and many more. Black Friday weekend badge sales are going on as we speak, so head on over and register for Animé Los Angeles today!
