Animé Los Angeles 19 Prepares for Biggest Masquerade Yet, Special Guests

With less than a month to go until Animé Los Angeles 19, it’s time to take a closer look at what’s going down at the Long Beach Convention Center this year. From a thrilling Masquerade in a new location to plenty of special guests, the weekend of January 4-7, 2024 is going to be packed. Register today and read on for some highlights! 

Cosplayers of all ages and skill levels are invited to take part in The Animé Los Angeles Masquerade, a cosplay craftsmanship and performance contest that offers up awards and prizes. This time around the fun will begin on Saturday at 7:00pm in the Long Beach Terrace Theater, with tickets to be distributed for free to attendees who possess a Full of Saturday badge. 

The lineup of guests this year is equally impressive, including the likes of illustrator, designer and concept artist Hidetaka Tenjin, a Guest of Honor known for work on titles like Macross Frontier, Back Arrow, Yasuke and more. Attendees can also look forward to seeing content creator, anisong DJ, singer and author Kaho Shibuya, as well as international music guests like SANA and Broken by the Scream, among many others.  

Beyond that there are a ton of interactive events to take part in, from tabletop gaming to The Electric Town’s Maid Cafés, a manga lounge, karaoke, game shows and cosplay gatherings. Don’t forget to take a trip or three through the Artist Alley and, most importantly, enjoy a wonderful weekend of making new friends and memories.
