Alice-san Chi no Iroribata Manga Lands Live-Action Series

Alice-san Chi no Iroribata Manga Lands Live-Action SeriesAlice-san Chi no Iroribata, the Bunta Kinami manga about a woman who returns to her rural hometown after living in Tokyo for a decade, is getting the live-action treatment.

The series will star Fumika Baba as Alice, and premiere on January 7, 2025.

Baba is known for her roles in films such as Ganguro Gals Riot, Tyida and Corpo a Corpo.

The Alice-san Chi no Iroribata manga, which ran from 2020 to 2023, translates as By the Hearth at Alice’s House.

The story involves Alice cooking using the traditional irori (sunken hearth) in her family home and rekindling a relationship with childhood friend Harumi.

Kinami is also known for RWBY: The Official Manga.
