The latest light novel series to be adapted into anime is Yomu Mishima’s I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!, known in Japan as Ore wa Seikan Kokka nno Akutoku Ryoshu!). The announcement was made during the 5th Overlap Bunko All-Star Roundup Special livestream, and the series is set to premiere in April 2025.
Natsuki Hanae is in the lead as Liam alongside Reina Ueda as Amagi and Takehito Koyasu as Guide. Tetsuya Yanagisawa (ORIENT) is directing the anime, with Katsuhiko Takayama on series composition, Kazuya Morimae on character designs and Yusuke Seo and Shun Narita on music for the Quad production.
