These Anime Girls Are Starting a Whole New Life

How will this season's anime girls adjust to their brand new lives?

There’s more than one way to start a new life in anime! Even if you’re not isekai‘d into a new life, you can find yourself starting over… for better or for worse. These anime girls are starting off the fall season with new names, new homes, and sometimes whole new identities.

How will the fall season’s heroines fare in their new lives? Read on to find out!

Ms. Servant Is Starting Over

You are Ms. Servant

When a stranger shows up at high schooler Yokoya’s girl, he’s not expecting a maid. But “Ms. Servant,” as he calls her at first, is more than just a housekeeper. In fact, she technically isn’t even that. The first of our anime girls is actually a trained assassin. But she’s ready to start a new life, and Yokoya can offer her that.

Armed with a new name for keeps—Yuki—the star of You Are Ms. Servant works to leave her dark past behind. She might not be the best at being a maid, but she’s learning. And she’s discovered the joys of tonkatsu sauce!

Yoshino Has a Fiancé (and a problem)

Yakuza Fiance

Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii is already putting the next of our anime girls through the wringer. Yoshino wasn’t exactly excited about moving in with her new betrothed, but she made the best of it. Both Yoshino and Kirishima come from yakuza clans, and this arrangement is part of an inter-clan truce. And Kirishima seems nice enough… at first.

As it turns out, Yoshino’s fiancé is violent and bloodthirsty and looking forward to absolutely destroying her. But when she reciprocates with equal force, he’s suddenly madly in love. What kind of future awaits them? Watch on to find out!

Nina is “Reborn” as a Princess

Nina the Starry Bride

Lots of anime girls (and real girls!) would love to be reborn as a princess. But for Nina the Starry Bride, taking on the life of a royal is more than luxury and pretty dresses. After the death of blue-eyed priestess-princess Alisha, the orphaned Nina is forced to become her double indefinitely.

While delving into politics and marrying a total stranger are already a lot to adjust to, more is weighing on Nina’s heart. Becoming Alisha means leaving her true self behind. How can you live on knowing that there’s no one left to call you by your real name? As she’ll soon discover, though, she has unexpected allies, even far from home.

For some literal new lives, check out this season’s reincarnated heroes!
