Following some recent character trailers, a release window has been narrowed down for I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level 2, the second season adapting Kisetsu Morita’s light novel series. According to the latest update, the new season will premiere in April 2025, and you can see more on the theme songs along with a new trailer and visual below.

While the titles have yet to be revealed, Yui Ogura is on the new opening song and Aguri Onishi is on the new ending song.

The new season is being made at Teddy, with Kunihisa Sugishima, known for various parts of the Beyblade franchise, helming the project as director. This is a change from season one, where the anime was made at Revoroot, and Nobukage Kimura was in the director’s seat. Another change is that season one episode writer Naohiro Fukushima has now been tasked with supervising series scripts. Previously that was handled by Tatsuya Takahashi.

The first season is available on Crunchyroll both subbed and dubbed.
