October 7 marks the premiere of the Haigakura anime, which is based on the josei fantasy manga of the same name by Shinobu Takayama. Ahead of that, a new trailer arrived to put the spotlight on friends and foes alike, including Hiki, Sanu, Gas Mask and Rabbit Mask.

Junichi Yamamoto (Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion) directs the Haigakura anime, with Yu Murai on series composition, Masaki Sato on character designs and Yuki Kurihara on music for the TYPHOON GRAPHICS production.
Shinobu Takayama’s Haigakura manga has been running since 2008. The manga is about Kashikans, officers who must track down gods and capture them to restore order to the world. There’s no official English adaptation available at the time of this writing, but hopefully this anime will spur some interest for publishers!
